Resultados convocatoria Curso en Desarrollo Humano Local con Énfasis en la Metodología del Programa Marco ART
De antemano agradecemos su apoyo a la convocatoria de becas para participar en el Curso en Desarrollo Humano Local con Énfasis en Metodología y Temáticas del Programa Marco ART. En total se presentaron 257 personas, cuyos perfiles fueron evaluados teniendo en cuenta los parámetros divulgados en la convocatoria y fueron seleccionadas cerca de 50 personas, quienes tendrán la posibilidad de seguir su proceso de matrícula aportando el valor restante. En los próximos días estaremos contactando a los beneficiarios de la beca otorgada por la Iniciativa Global ART - Articulación de Redes Territoriales y Temáticas de Cooperación para el Desarrollo Humanodel PNUD, para enviarles las instrucciones para cubrir el 30% restante equivalente a USD 250. Nuevamente agradecemos a todos los postulados por el interés mostrado en el programa y la comunidad por la difusión hecha de la convocatoria.

The Fight Against Corruption in the Field
Nigeria.
Expert Workshop on Development of Training Module for Training of Corruption Risk Assessors. Holding in Abuja 11-15 June, as a pilot experience, this expert workshop has been Organized by Independent Corrupt Practices & Other Related Offences ( ICPC) , Technical Unit on Governance an Anti-corruption Reforms (TUGAR), Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) and the Inter-agency Anti-corruption Task Team (IATT) In cooperation with the UNDP. It will be the first time That at the country level, actor agree to build a course an empower the stakeholders to conduit Corruption Risks Assessment. The goal of this training is : after the successful completion of the course the participants should be able to apply and facilitate the application of the Corruption Risk Assessment Methodology developed by TUGAR / ICPC and to propose meaningful anti-corruption responses to specific corruption risks. Training objectives: To develop capacity within course participants: 1.To understand the concepts and impact of corruption and integrity; 2. To understand and to have skills to apply and manage application of the specific risk assessment methodology developed by TUGAR and 3. To understand and to have skills to manage the development of organizational integrity plans. Certificates issued by the UNDP Virtual School; in collaboration with IATT .

Camilo Tamayo, member of the academic team of the EV, selected to the Honorable Mention of the President Nestor Kirchner Fellowship for 2011-2012
The Virtual School is proud to announce that Camilo Tamayo, author and professor, has been selected to the Honorable Mention of the President Nestor Kirchner Fellowship. Camilo Tamayo is Expert Associate of the Regional Centre for Latin America and the Caribbean of the United Nations Development Programme and has supported the Virtual School as an academic member in various activities, especially in the area of Media and Democracy: Author and teacher of the Course in Democracy and Media in the Southern Cone on 2010 and supported the development of the Course in Media and Democracy in Central America.

Virtual training in "Local Governance and Public Management focused on Human Development in the health sector " Guatemala
In the early days of July, two virtual courses on "Local Governance and Public Management focused on human development in the health sector" were initiated. These courses corresponded to the third and fourth editions of the Virtual Training Program under the Project in Management and Governance, which is supported by UNDP Guatemala in partnership with the UNDP Virtual School as part of the strategy to strengthen the public health sector, implemented by the Ministry of Public Health and Welfare (MSPAS).
Online course on “Essentials on Anti-Corruption and Human Development”
It is a pleasure for the UNDP Virtual School to inform you about the new 10-week online course on “Essentials on Anti-Corruption and Human Development” that will be launched in September of 2011. This course is the first UNDP training initiative that provides analytical and practical tools on anticorruption from a human development perspective and promotes a comparative analysis of corruption practices around the globe.
